Personal Message from Wendy: Yes, I HAVE been absent from my website for far too long. Unfortunately, this site and my "business" did not "take off" as I had hoped it would. REAL LIFE, and the necessity to eat, have a roof over my head, and pay bills intervened, not leaving me enough time to focus on this website. I have come to the conclusion that I DO want to spread Reiki Energy and Healing, and I DO want to touch some lives for the better, even if it is only a few lives. So I have had to make the decision to revamp this website, and to change a little bit of direction on the "business" side of it....!! First and Foremost: I have decided to SLASH my prices for Reiki sessions to: $45/hr. and $25/30 minutes! This is an almost 50% discount on my previous prices!! However, this also means that NO OTHER discounts will apply! I WILL still come to you. Secondly: There WILL be some more changes coming to this website itself! I have had to really make a firm decision to myself to start dedicating a little bit of time to it, no matter how small, almost every day. Reiki comes from two Japanese words, Rei and Ki, and is pronounced "ray key". One of the translations of rei is "universal", ki is most commonly translated as "life energy" or "life force". Therefore, in general, Reiki means "universal life force" or "universal life energy". You may or may not be familiar with the Chinese equivalent of ki, which is "chi" (as in tai chi, which is movement and breathing techniques designed to move life force or energy through the body), or you may have heard of the Indian equivalent of "prana".
Reiki is an ancient Japanese form of energy work used to relax, replenish, and aid the body’s natural ability to heal itself. It is the name given to a simple and gentle, yet powerful and profound method of natural healing for the body and mind. Reiki is used to complement any other medical or therapeutic technique to help relieve side effects and promote faster recovery.
Many people also regard Reiki as a path to personal and spiritual growth. Reiki is NOT a religion, nor is it affiliated with any religion.
